How to arrange it
- For curbside: MyLA311 or 1-800-773-2489 at least one business day before your trash day. For drop-off: go to a S.A.F.E. Center such as Washington Blvd. (2649 E. Washington Blvd.) or Randall Street (11025 Randall St., Sun Valley).
Rules change, and where a source is unclear we say so. Confirm with the city (311) before setting anything out.
Paid option: junk removal
Not eligible for city pickup (for example, a larger apartment building) or need it gone sooner? A private junk removal service can haul items from inside your home for a fee. [Partner link not yet active]
Disclosure: Free official options are always listed first. If a paid-removal link appears, it may be an affiliate link and we may earn a commission at no cost to you. It never changes what we recommend.
